Each wrap is crafted from the undercoat of the Alpas breed, raised in one of the harshest climates on earth. Winters regularly fall below -20°C, encouraging the development of an exceptionally fine insulating layer beneath the outer coat.

During the natural spring molt, the fiber is gently collected through traditional hand-combing methods practiced by nomadic herding families for generations. The process is patient, respectful, and intentionally slow, because the integrity of the material begins long before it reaches the loom.
